This week the weather has been quite in between. I think autumn is definitely on its way. I have been trying to find outfits that are warm enough for when I leave in the morning but don’t leave me sweltering when I am on my way home.

This was a week of two halves temperature wise. Monday and Tuesday were cool and a bit rainy and then suddenly midweek the heatwave came back and it looks like it’s here to stay until the middle of next week. I was rather enjoying the cooler weather. I even managed to wear some trousers!
It was another scorcher this week in London, so once again I wore some of my summeriest clothes. On Tuesday my department at work had a picnic in Regent’s Park so I even got to rock my dungarees!
This week has been an absolute scorcher in London. In many places in the world temperatures in the upper 20’s wouldn’t be considered a heatwave but in the UK that definitely counts as high summer. I can’t stand being hot so I made sure I dressed accordingly. It was a great excuse to get my shorts out! I did make an effort to be a bit more conservative on Monday because I was invited to a “new starter breakfast” by our director from work at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants so I wanted to make sure I looked the part.
Another week of in between weather, which is driving me nuts. It’s so hard to know what to wear in the morning. I know everyone is going to suggest layers but I hate layers. I can’t stand wearing clothes on top of clothes on top of clothes. In other news, my stress about not getting on with people at work is slowly abating and things are getting better. Unfortunately my hay fever is getting worse and worse no matter what I take so in all my pictures I look a bit wonky and by Thursday I couldn’t be bothered anymore and decided to go super comfy.
This has definitely been a week of two halves. On Monday it was still pretty chilly, Tuesday was middling and then we got hit with full summer! I don’t think I adjusted fast enough and by Wednesday afternoon I was BOILING. I also look a bit bedraggled since the warmer weather has meant my hayfever is in full force and I can’t stop sneezing!
