This week I was on the move, travelling for work so that I could attend some meetings. That means I spent a night in the Hatfield Travelodge… which was not glamorous but when you are the mother of a co-sleeping toddler, any night in a bed on your own is quite exciting! Because of the travels, some of pictures are from my hotel room rather than my usual bathroom.

This was my last week off work for 2018 before I have a couple of weeks off for Christmas so I decided to go fully festive and wear something Christmassy every day.

This week my office has turned very festive with lots of decorations around. We also had our team Christmas lunch. I always enjoy a bit of Christmas spirit, which is reflected in this week’s outfits.
This week has a bonus outfit because I went to my work Christmas party on Tuesday night. I got a bit dressed up so I have included a picture of what I wore to the party.Â

I had a bit of an interesting week outfit wise. I really liked my outfit on Monday but then a random man that I often see in Starbucks told me I looked pregnant. Hmmm. Anyway, I liked it and all the rest of my clothes for the week and enjoyed my birthday week at work!
After spending the weekend in Lisbon in shorts and t-shirts it was a bit of a shock to the system to be back in England and really chilly. I had a really busy week at work with a fair bit of trekking around to different sites for workshops. It has reminded me that I need to buy some new comfy winter boots!
This week was a bit less confusing weather-wise. It has definitely properly cooled down and I’ve had less stress about overheating in the middle of the day. I am enjoying getting some of my more wintery clothes back into the mix.
The weather continues to be up and down and I had a week of serious period bloat that made some of my clothes really uncomfortable to wear. Again it made choosing outfits tricky but let’s hope next week settles down a bit.
The weather continues to be strange and unpredictable. It was freezing on Monday and then warmed up massively for the rest of the week… although I think I dressed more optimistically than most. I think it’s time to accept that Thursday was my last tights-free outfit for a while.
This week started off really cold and then warmed up and now it’s cold again. There are only two outfits this week as I had a team day out on Thursday. Both outfits are on the colder end of the week and it’s hard to believe that on Thursday I was in a t-shirt!
There are only two outfits this week as I was in training on Wednesday in what I can only describe as a dystopian nightmare of a building. The weather continues to be very “in-between” and also this week very windy as there have been some storms about.
This week was full of in between weather again. I am quite enjoying finding outfits to put together that work for a range of temperatures during the day. Although the idea of tights and winter boots is becoming ever more appealing.
This week the weather has been quite in between. I think autumn is definitely on its way. I have been trying to find outfits that are warm enough for when I leave in the morning but don’t leave me sweltering when I am on my way home.
Only two outfits this week as Monday was a bank holiday so I was not in work. It’s cooled down a bit, which I am not complaining about. I also have a horrible cold so I apologise for the fact that I look a bit scraggly.
There was no outfit post last week as I never physically went into the office last week. I had two days of very interesting training, two days of working from home and one day of holiday to recover from my Secret Cinema trip. This week thankfully remained cooler and suggests that we are starting to ease into Autumn, which is obviously the best part of the year!
Once again it was a week of two halves. It started out roasting hot and then cooled down considerably as the week went on. I definitely preferred the cooler half, even though it rained and I am hoping the cooler weather sticks around a bit.
This was a week of two halves temperature wise. Monday and Tuesday were cool and a bit rainy and then suddenly midweek the heatwave came back and it looks like it’s here to stay until the middle of next week. I was rather enjoying the cooler weather. I even managed to wear some trousers!
This week was roasting hot once again. I am continuing to work from home two days a week so I only have three outfits. I also travelled to Leeds for work on Tuesday so I have weird hotel room pictures again. Praying for slightly cooler weather next week.
This week my team moved floors within our office. We’ve been taking up more space than we should have been and have been relegated to a smaller group of desks. This has had two consequences for me. The first is that the floor I am now based on does not have a selfie mirror so I have to sneak up to the floor I used to be on for photos. The second is that there are not enough desks for all of us to come in 4 or 5 days a week so it’s now likely I will be working from home twice a week on most weeks, which means one less outfit.
It was another scorcher this week in London, so once again I wore some of my summeriest clothes. On Tuesday my department at work had a picnic in Regent’s Park so I even got to rock my dungarees!
