So we’re onto the penultimate selfie collection and think we’re going to have to call these 10 days “when Abbi was sick and tired” because I haven’t been very well over the last couple of weeks. It’s nothing serious, just a bit of rundownness and a bug but I have certainly been sleeping a lot more than I usually would!
Here I am working from home and feeling less than glamorous although because it’s my house one of Mr O’s guitars is hanging out in the background
I am normally out of bed at 7am no matter what the day of the week but this particular Saturday I got up at 1pm after going to bed at 8.45 the previous night
One of my greatest pleasures in life is making food for friends. On Sunday we had our friends Jen and Rob over for lunch and I cooked almost all day. I was exhausted afterwards but so happy!
Mondays… they come every week so the only thing you can do is face them head on.
Jamie Oliver is my food idol! I have all his recipe books and I love making his 30 Minute Meals. I haven’t done one for a while but I did last Monday and I had forgotten how intense it is!
So the UK has been swept by some crazy storms in the last week. The first one was named Abigail, which I took as a compliment. The wind did leave me looking like Hermione Granger circa Philosopher’s Stone though.
On Thursday I had to go home early and cancel my personal training session because I felt horrible so I was on the train much earlier than usual. I find it tough to accept not being 100% because I am normally such an energetic person.
On Friday I had the opportunity to catch up with my old team at work as well as some former colleagues and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity so I wrapped myself up warm and went for it. I didn’t last very late but I am so glad I went!
On Saturday I finally got my hair cut. It was so freezing that I am basically wearing a blanket as a scarf!
I had so many chores to do on Sunday and so little motivation so here I am in my dressing gown psyching myself up to get started
Hope you feel better this week lady! Being sick sucks 😦
You are so beautiful, Abbi! I could look at you all day.
Oh you do flatter me!
Yes I do. 🙂
You are the selfie queen.
I’m not entirely sure that’s a good thing! Lol!
Oh it’s a good thing, there is an art to the selfie.
Hope you feel better soon!
Hate being sick. I like your blanket as a scarf technique.
It’s a lifesaver for keeping out the wind!
