As most of you know this last weekend was my 35th birthday weekend and it was brilliant!

Mr O and I both took the day off on Friday and I got to have a massive lay in that was only improved by the fact the Mr O brought me a skinny cappuccino to have in bed

I got loads of cards from friends and family… these are just some of them

And there were plenty of flowers, like these roses from Mr O

And this amazing autumnal bouquet from Amy

And this gorgeous orchid from Carrie and Tal that I am DESPERATELY hoping not to kill

There was also fire since we went to visit Mr Os family to check out the fireworks at his old high school

Before hanging out around his parents’ fire pit

Neil (who lives with us now) and I managed to go to the gym, which was good

Because I managed to eat this massive Sunday roast with all my friends

Topped off with peanut butter pie and raspberry sorbet… back to healthy eating tomorrow!
Sounds like you had a great time! I LOVE all those flowers. 🙂 They’d die within one day around me….
So far everything is still alive but I am on tenterhooks…
Wow! Happy Birthday, Abbi
Thank you!
sounds like u had a blast! congrats again. That roast looks amazing!
It was so unbelievably good but I couldn’t eat for the rest of the day!
Understandable 😉
I’m glad you had a great time!!
Thank you!
Again, it looks fabulous! Best of luck with the orchids!
Thank you. Right now it is still alive but I fear every day might be its last.
A very happy birthday to you fellow scorpio! xxx
Thank you! All the best people are Scorpios!
A very cool birthday. Especially like the photo of Mr O. Looks like he’s a real firestarter!
He had more fun with the sparklers than the kids did!
Ha!
Only just saw this, happy belated birthday!
As for orchids, they like suffering, so you only need to give them water every month (or just under). Also if the flowers do die, don’t panic, you can cut it at set point (google for complete instructions) and they will grow back!
Thank you! And for the orchid tips. I have been watering it very sparingly.
