So this round of selfies involves all sorts of hair shenanigans since I reached that awful stage of my haircut where I had lost control of my fringe and it had turned into a wedge of insanity. Fortunately there is a haircut near the end of the time period, which brings things neatly back to normality. Now on to the photos.
Day 22

One of my fringe dealing strategies is to turn it into a quiff… although I always feel like showing my forehead also shows my age
Day 23

On this day I went to a leaving party after work so I decided to dress up a little and well, there was cleavage…
Day 23

I was a teenager in the 90s so I have fond memories of short gingham dresses… this takes me right back
Day 24

I am normally an early riser but on Saturday I totally overslept and almost missed my class at the gym… afterwards I was really tired
Day 25

On Sunday I went to see Miss You Already with my BFF, Dawn. It was very sad and I felt really melancholy afterwards
Day 26

On Monday I went to have my nose ring changed so I would be able to remove it myself and get to climb trees at Centre Parcs over the weekend. At the same time I asked them to just take out my tongue ring. After 15 years it felt like the right time. It was not a Miley Cyrus impersonation!
Day 27
Day 28
Day 39

As upbeat a person as I am, even I have days where I just don’t feel very happy. This was one of those days
Day 40
I don’t think showing your forehead makes you look like your age. You still look young. 🙂
Aww, bless you!
That quiff is cool! 🙂
Thank you! It always appears when I have gone too long without a hair cut!
I like your new nose ring. I’ve been wanting to change mine out too but can’t decide on what. I have similar feelings about my navel ring as your tongue ring, it was a teenage decision that I wouldn’t make today. I can’t take it out though, unless I want a lovely scar.
I am back to the old one since it took me about 2 days to lose one of the balls. I feel kind of similar about my navel ring, which I have had for 18 years. I have now moved to a very small, very simple bar but I know the scar will never heal.
I love the transformations in this batch! They work so well all together like this.
When I have a barbell anywhere, I have to keep a supply of extra balls. Except for my septum–I never lost one from that piercing.
Thank you! Extra balls would have been a great idea since I lost the ball off this once about 3 days later!
Gosh, lady, you are looking FANTASTIC! Wow!
I don’t think lifting your fringe makes you look older at all.
I also recently took out my tongue ring. Took some time to get used to. Sheesh.
Aww thank you. You are so sweet. It’s feeling less weird now. There was a little bit of raised scar tissue but it’s already gotten smaller.
I hope I don’t come off sounding weird but I must say that you are lovely to look at, Abbi O! I love that beautiful red hair of yours!
Not weird at all. It’s a lovely compliment. Thank you!
