It seems that over the last ten days food was the centre of my happiness but then, when isn’t it? This is what made me smile…
Every year my company has a charity pub quiz. The questions are always a bit impossible and apart from one freak year where we won my team never does very well but it’s fun to hang out with colleagues and raise money for charity. This is a selfie I took on my way home.
I love sweet potatoes no matter how they are prepared but the fries at Ed’s are my absolute favourite.
I was lucky enough to get to go to and see Panic! At the Disco with my colleague, Eleni. It was an epic show and we even got to see Brendon Urie do a back flip. Show off!
I absolutely love the Eurovision Song Contest. It’s so incredibly insane and colourful. Fortunately Paul’s family loves it too and they had a little party on Saturday to celebrate. We all came dressed as a country. I was France.
There’s nothing like Sunday lunch with your family.
On Sunday afternoon I knocked up some lemon bars, which I took to work on Monday. I was amazed and thrilled at how popular they were with my colleagues. Less than 5 minutes and only one left.
There’s nothing Mr O loves more than his slippers. Recently he’s been moaning that they were falling apart so I bought him some new ones. That made him happy which made me happy.
I’m not sure where the free cupcakes at work came from but they were delicious.
The weather recently has been really miserable so I had to celebrate the first lovely day we’ve had in ages. This pic is from my local park near work. Maybe Spring is finally here!
Unsurprisingly going to the movies is one of my favourite things so I am always happy when I get into the cinema. This was my third trip for the week. Also Ben & Jerry’s!
A busy ten days! Those sweet potato fries look so delicious. I can’t wait to hear your review of Godzilla. There’s a bunch of us that are trying to get together to see it, we’ve been anxiously waiting for it to come out!
They are amazing. I cannot resist them! I have to admit that I didn’t love Godzilla. Hopefully you will enjoy it more than I did.
Love this, Abbi! And so cool you went to see P!ATD. I watched them live when I was in high school and it was awesome.
I’ve actually seen them loads if times from when they were touring A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out until now. They always put on a great show.
They do! That was the tour I saw them in 🙂
Holy crap those fries at Ed’s look damn delicious!
And just by the way… slippers are the answer!!!
They are like heaven in a bowl. I wear my slippers when it’s freezing but otherwise I’m always barefoot. It’s my inner Dutchman. I literally take off my shoes the minute I’m through the front door.
This isn’t helping. I am so hungry. Well, I am damn near hangry. FIVE MORE MINUTES.
LOOOOOOL! I can get that. I must always have something on my feet, so I have a serious slipper fetish! Yeah, shoes must go the second you come home (god given right and all), but my slipper are there and waiting.
