I picked up the skirt I am wearing today for a song at the end of the ASOS sale. I suppose it’s a winter garment being of quite heavy fabric but with London not quite committed to spring yet I’m glad I’ve gotten an opportunity to wear it this season. I really like the fact that it’s black and grey. It softens the pattern and stops it from looking “harsh”.
In this outfit I am wearing a black and grey striped stretch slash neck 3/4 sleeve t-shirt from Primark with a black and grey hounds tooth patterned midi circle skirt from ASOS, black tights also Primark, a red cardigan from Topman, tan brogues from Dune and a fox cameo I bought in a craft market in Budapest.
I love ASOS! I was wearing a red cardi & long sleeve striped shirt today – perfect for autumn in Sydney. You look great.
Thank-you! I am a big fan too. Their clothing is really stylish but also affordable!
Looking great! I like it better without the cardigan.
Thanks! Unfortunately it’s not quite warm enough yet to go sans cardigan.
Oh, that makes sense.
Very cute, love the school girlish look. I always here UK peeps mention Primark, what kind of store is that? Just curious over here.
Thanks! Primark is a really big store that sells really cheap clothes and some homewares of medium quality. Over the years it has become very good at doing decent reproductions of really trendy stuff so it’s perfect for basics like T-shirts but just as great for trying out trends without spending a fortune.
Thank you for explaining, it almost sounds like a version of our Target stores. I always hear people mention it on blogs so glad I know now. Cool!
I am a big fan of greys and stripes but the brogues are my favorite!!!
Thanks! I do love a good brogue. I had an amazing pair of blue ones that eventually disintegrated. I miss them.
Love the subtle clash of patterns..and the red!! xxx
Thanks! It was one of those outfits I threw on in a mad rush and then thought, actually, this is genius. I must have natural style!
